A fake strawberry for the birds to peck. They will start to belive those straw berries are rock and leave them alone. A few out smart the rock trick though
I had some strawberry plants I put in an outdoor pot and then covered with straw and put in my shed for the winter. The straw kept them warm and they came back. you do have to change the soil because they add poison in to the soil to kill other plants and in a pot they can kill the strawberries

@crystal They are pretty easy to grow and they vine like crazy just need to bury the vine and you will get another strawberry plant
