A bleeding heart or an orchid of a bleeding heart is not a houseplant

I'm hoping to plant a good-sized flower garden next year, so there will always be flowers on the kitchen table. I'm so excited!!😄

Both.  My sister plans out the garden and all the plants we get for it.  But she and I will often get smaller plants and hanging baskets on impulse.

I plan it carefully! If I impulse buy, I’m scared I won’t have the space or care it needs to actually allow it to thrive

I tend to underwater my plants, even when I remember to water them. But they seem to be still going😅🌿

A bit of both, honestly! Some days I’m so busy I forget, and other days I get carried away and give them too much. I’m still learning exactly what each one needs  every plant is different, and so am I! Growing togethe.

We both need sunlights! Without it, plants wont be able to grow and sustain themselves. Without sunlight, humans become more depressed and lose sight of time

We are deeply connected  part of the same living, breathing world  We share the same air, the same earth, the same life force. Just as plants give us oxygen and beauty, we care for and protect them. We grow best when we’re rooted in community  plants thrive together, and so do we. We are not separate we are family.

Im the opposite got tree growing in backyard.  Like 5 sprouted one is 6 ft tall

We've been trying to repopulate our tree count in the backyard thanks to a derecho 6 years ago.  We planted a persimmon tree in 2024.  However, we believe something ate the sapling.  I was really looking forward to seeing it bloom, but it doesn't appear that it will come back.

I have infact taken single little clippings from public places and grown full luscious plants from them. For example: outside of the gas station, Kwik Trip. Im terrible, I know ...😅(edited)

Have never even heard of this, and now I think my sister and I should do this!

My boyfriend grandma

From my Nana.  She built the garden in her backyard entirely by hand, and it thrived for almost 60 years.  There were both vegetables and flowers in her garden.  She taught my siblings and I everything we could ever know.

In my experience, my plants prefer them. Ceramic doesn’t allow enough airflow/drainage on it’s own. I used a insert pot with drainage holes for ceramics. Terracotta typically already has a hole(s), and can be decorated to your taste. Plus their cheaper than ceramic.

There is nothing like a clay pot. I also like to softly personalize them:)

Plants bring me joy! Seeing something that I have cared for grow is amazing

Life and beauty and possibility. For my siblings and I, plants remind us of our maternal grandmother. She loved to garden, and we're trying to keep that spark alive.

I love flowers, but I would love to try vegetables as well if I want to cook a recipe. 😊
