I don't believe in anything spiritual like ghosts, BUT an old house could have either structural issues or people using it as a place to pretend to be ghosts and scare people, especially if I'm being offered money (There's a great chance they'll want to scare me out!) Regardless of all of that, I'm so easily terrified lol.
It'd entirely depend on the circumstances, and I'd have to ask questions like "How old is the house?" In most situations, I think I'd take the money though. I doubt most such houses would be dangerous enough to turn me away from a WHOLE 10K.
