What matters more when you listen to music?

For me melody matters more than lyrics in a song  because I can forget the lyrics but the melody will always stay stuck in my head if it's good.

Because I do lot of multiple tricks sometimes I do dumb tricks like I jumped off the roof and did backflip

Because the vibe

i feel like lyrics i can learn to appreciate over time but the melody can immediately determine if/how much i like a song

The Melody is what makes the song feel a certain way

The melody is more important than the lyrics especially if its not in english. If the lyrics are really cringey in english I wont listen to it though lol

If the lyrics are wierd then it's funny but melodies make or break the song

Always found myself drawn towards melodies given background playing piano

Melodies stay much longer.
