Apart from cats and dogs, what other animals do you think can be kept as a pet?

Well I have rabbits. Growing up I had lots of pets that werent cats or dogs because of allergies. I had snails, frogs, a gecko, a turtle, hamsters, and birds. I wanted a snake, a sugar glider, and a ferret but never had any.
