Apart from just having a pet, why exactly do you keep them

To calm down my anextiy and to remind me of my grampa that died this year

I miss my cat my mom has her at her friends house and my other one is feral and on my grandpa's farm but i got them both cause i get attached and i dont get attached easy so its pretty monumental for me

They help me with my anxiety and depression
