@Victoria I went alone too! It didn't really go as I'd planned. I went to drive around and look at castles and had no plans. Stayed in a castle. I went to Ireland alone to look at churches and cemetaries. Not quite as nice of people as Scotland. But I traveled over 1150km in one week in the rental car. I want to go back to both with someone to change up driving to see more. Those roads in Ireland are impossible and a long truck hauling logs hit me in Scotland!

i went to scottland for my birthday one year alone, everyone in Edinburgh was so friendly! @Cara did you get a chace to explore the highlands?

@Cara wait HAHA same!! i'm picking up some lingo and watching korean shows helps a lot. idk if you know bts but it's similar to when RM was like "i watch friends to practice english"

@crystal Communicating in English is SO important. I can still do some of my German from college, but most of it centers around food. 🍰 I'm pretty sure I'm beginning to learn Korean off all the Netflix I binge.

When I visited Singapore, everyone was so kind! It's so extremely busy but people were very polite and we struck up some good conversations. I think it also helps that we can communicate in English
