Keys Left to Award0How do you feel about how nowadays people are so disconnected from the production process of their food?

I always Cook 🥘 myself

Eh

Like!Ive personally neutralised towards it. In my family we dont eat fast food all that much, but we do have snacks from time to time. I guess i just struggle to care about a lot of things these days, including what goes into my system. I figure it'll either work itself out in there or it won't, and I'll face the consequences, but tasty food that makes me forget everything for a little while is worth a lil risk. It does make sense to worry but apathy is easier. My brain is sort of full of anxiety enough so i don't think about these things, cos i still gotta eat in the end and it cant be helped - for the most part, anyway.
Its not just about fast food, but about how people are removed from most everything they eat. You go to the store and buy bread but you dont grow the wheat, process it, make the dough, cook the bread, etc. A lot of people dont understand how or whe...

Like!I think it is important to know where your food comes from and what is in it (pestisides/chemicals whatever). I have noticed many people growing their own produce, hatching eggs, even slaughtering chickens at home. That is a good thing to me because then you know what's in the produce and meat/eggs.
my neighbor has chickens for eggs!! at first i thought it was an interesting choice in this neighborhood (not common in the suburbs here) but now im realizing how smart they are for it 😂

I think it is very important for us to know what we are putting into our bodies. So much of our food is very unhealthy we eat terribly compared to our ancestors.
