I think you cant fully seperate it. Art is a reflection of the person who made it. Like one major example is d4vd. so much of his music was about celeste. i dont think you can listen to his music seperately from him and his crimes.

i was a huge exol but quick to drop kris wu though he wasnt my favorite and i didnt care for his music. i dont support chris brown as an artist but id be lying if i said didnt love his music growing up before it came out that he was an abuser, and the nostalgia ends up coming to mind first when i hear his old stuff

yeah sometimes its a huge shock when these things come out but it's up to us what we want to do. i dropped kris's music even tho he was my fav and i cant even watch the shows he was on anymore
