I fully believed the "no CGI in The Odyssey" posts going around, which is probably why I was so amused to find out the reality is a little more complicated
The whirlpool scene had practical elements (people on jetskis creating the outer rings) and then CGI was used for parts like the center
Still impressive, but now I feel lied to
