movies I've seen recently (as in last week):


  • Joy Ride (2023). i feel like this might be a controversial take but I enjoyed it lol. the comedy is a little overly dependent on swearing and raunchy themes but surprisingly it has a lot of heart. A lot of the themes of not feeling truly asian really rang true for me as a mixed person.
  • Now You See Me 2 (2016). Even more confusing than the first one and slightly less fun. What did I watch.

    I haven't heard of Joy Ride until now, but it looks good, I love watching Asian American movies. Have you watched the show 'Beef'?

    I fw "Now You See Me 2". I thought it was a pretty good watch, but they also released a third movie last year. I really wanted to like the 3rd one but I'm honestly not sure how it say with me
