It's both for me lol Some AI vids have the look of generated visuals and others don't raise immediate flags visually but my brain just says take a closer look.
yeah nowadays i always need to look closer
i just avoid short form content altogether except for youtube channels i know at this point lol. i can typically tell but i also get a little suspicious of anything that seems like a perfectly formatted viral video
but ive noticed that some youtube channels are just ai scripts with ai voices and i click on them and i realize halfway through that it's ai :( theyre getting really good at this
@luciel Oh 100%. There's this AI channel that makes theme park videos and all the videos are like "CREEPY AND ABANDONED" and then even the AI script will reveal at the end that it is in fact not abandoned 😭

I can tell with like 99% accuracy. I only mistook a real video for AI one time so far... My husband cant tell what's AI as easily as I can. Not sure why its easier for some people. Perhaps it's my sensory processing disorder actually doing something useful for once?
im not sure, i want to be more aware but it's hard. the ai disclaimers dont help too often either
