Are movie theaters dying, or are movies just getting worse?

Both

I think they just use the same plot over and over, and the theaters are getting really expensive. But I still love going to the theater.

Movies are getting less creative.

Tbh technology is just takeing over a yes a bit of both people are stoping going to movie theaters because there apps and stuff so you can watch at home but i would low key just go to a movie theater tbh lol

I'd say a bit of both, the pandemic certainly didn't help

I think both

It's a combination of the two

they are a bit expensive plus nowadays we can watch movies at home

Covid messed up the movie theaters

Everyone is at the comfort of their home with their phones or projector

BoYh. Movies are getting worse, and the theater experience isn't what it used to be.

Theaters are EXPENSIVE!! Some aren't bad if you're seeing a movie late but by than i'd rather watch it at home with the comfort of pausing it, sitting how I want and having captions on.

I think movies just arent worth it most of the time heh. Not anymore anyway. But prices are definitely increasing and increasing, so it's a little of both. For me it leans more towards movies tho. Cos i remember i decided not to go to the cinrma again, at least not for a long while, after watching Shazam 2 which I found pretty bad heh

Fast furious last one and street fighter

It's a mix. Movie theaters charge crazy prices and there's not a lot of original ideas anymore.

because streaming services r more popular and people dont see the point in going if its gonna come out anyway

its wild, ill go once or twice a year at the most now

The economy is getting worse 😬 Why go to the theater when it costs a little over $12 just for the ticket! If you work a minimum wage job, thats more than an hour of your work. I think some people would rather pay $12 a month for a streaming service and wait until it gets out of theaters (or pirate it for $0 🫢)

Probally movies getting worse. But indie companies are really uping the game. They understand the art behind it and are very passionate about making a good film and also literally their dream film, not a blockbuster. Just because if is a blockbuster, it doesn't automatically make it good.😁🎬

Movies aren't as good now but i think it depends on what you're interested in, i think movie theaters are dying, they're more expensive and you can find almost every movie online
