I can't wait for Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly to return in October. It has honestly been really refreshing to get a magical girl (idol) series that is free from toyetic obligations so we can actually see good pacing lol. I also love seeing the girls experiment with magic in their regular lives (I have been missing that since OG Winx Club tbh). The vibes are immaculate. I also love the whole deeper plot of the sisters trying to repair their relationship. It's generally pretty grounded.

It was soo cute! Lily is every bit of a grade schooler but that Innocence is what makes her shine as an idol.
The adult in me was like " lets put a little more thought into the wishes though kid lol"
I read somewhere that the director tried to refrain from having episodes with a cliche "this is why you should be responsible with magic" message and tbh that makes the series feel much more genuine to me, like we get to actually see them behave like the kids they are and see what happens. And also, the show really tries to maintain this low-stakes vibe lol, no one is ever severely disturbed by magic happening most of the time, even when it makes no sense. They don't even get supicious either lmao
Have you ever watched/read shugo chara or my melody? the way you describe this show reminds me of the two meshed together
Shugo Chara has been on my watchlist for a while lol, I have to get around to it
@Suzettey let us know what you think of it, i'm putting magical sisters luluttolilly on my watch list!
