Your favourite work of Shakespeare? You don't have to have read the actual source material, just follow your bliss~

Full disclosure - I dislike Shakespeare. Yeah, and I call myself a writer. That said, I've been trying to wrap my head around it, starting with "Romeo and Juliet." Still not working, but I'll chip away at it.

Romeo and Juliet has a ridiculous ending ngl, and the language of Shakespeare in general is tough. But i read this book called "lamb tales of shakespeare" that simplified the language for me. Ive read a couple top to bottom but most of my reading of the guy is from that book, which gave really nice, long summaries of some of his books 😁 youre allowed to be a writer and not like him. Art will always be subjective, and just cos someone is called a "classic", it never means their creations work for everyone. He isn't a favourite of mine either, hes just alright imo, i just thought up the question randomly and threw it out there 😁
