Reading Emily Wilson's translation of The Odyssey and really appreciating how she approaches it without flattening the women into side characters or excusing the obvious sexism of the world it comes from

I also love how much she talks about translation as interpretation, the choices around rhythm, language, and what kind of voice the poem should have. Only read it for ~1hr so far but enjoying it
