If you're not easily triggered do you still read trigger warnings for a book? Is it a spoiler or subtle foreshadowing?

I read the sypnosis, and that itself gives a lot away. I don't care too much for trigger warnings

Very true. I always read them in case I wanna recommend to someone but one time I read on and unexpectedly got triggered myself...brought up some repressed feelings 😅

@Cami Oh no! I know a lot of sypnosis don't have trigger warnings, you typically have to turn the first few pages of the book. I'm sorry :(

i do read trigger warnings, but i feel like it doesnt give too much away since its a bit general and its not like "xyz does xyz" rather "warning: xyz", so you dont actually know whats going to happen

I def think its like a subtle foreshadow...like now I know someones parent dies or something

@Cami 😭 yeah some are more apparent than others
