I know we all love reading, but do you prefer reading or movies?

I Prefer reading because I have anxiety and it helps calm me down

Reading because when I watch a movie I'm given what the  director wants me to see but when I read a book, I get to make up pretty much everything as far as what each character looks like, what the environment looks like with a few descriptive words  to me to started.   My imaginary flow during the entire book is the reason I love to find a cozy corner with my cold beverage, my book and me,

Infact I usually like to read the book first then I see the movie.  This allows me to compare my imaginatary flow to actual characters and environmental aspects  in the movie and sometimes they are spot on.

Reading, I don't watch movies

Reading because the books have more information then movies

Reading cuz i like to know story in depth and movie can't go deep as they have to wrap up within 2-3hrs

Movies. It takes me longer when i read cause my brain b side tracking

I would say both but I barely watch TV anymore

Both.  But maybe reading has a slight edge because I can always make a movie up in my head as I'm reading.

Oh, movies for sure. I like getting to experience the madness visually, too. There's a beauty to the way authors craft their work that is striking and difficult to put into acting as well, often times, but movies just draw me in cos I can fully immerse myself in what's happening without any need to break with a page turn or a momentary distraction making me turn back pages and stuff~

I love both dearly… but movies win my heart!  They bring stories to life right before my eyes  sights, sounds, music, and emotion all wrapped in one. I can step fully into the world instantly, feel every beat, and see the characters breathe. It’s a beautiful escape  immersive, vivid, and so wonderfully alive!
