do you prefer listening to audiobooks or reading books?

I like reading bc my brain can actually imagine the words are saying (sorry if it makes no sense

Without a doubt. I get to own, see, touch, smell, turn pages, pace, and read in my own inner voice. Good thing I wasn’t a dog cause then I’d eat the book altogether.

Nothing beats turning the pages of a book.

It's at my own pace and I'm able to picture my own vices and stuff

I’ve never been an audiobook person. Reading allows me to really focus on the story and imagine the characters/setting

I prefer reading if I can, but I love crocheting, so you can't do both. I also find myself getting sleepy when reading. I wish it wasn't like that🥲

Reading them

I like to set the pace and let my imagination build the attitudes and such. Plus I feel more engaged reading. An audiobook could be playing for 5 minutes before I realized I tuned out 10 minutes ago 😂

I chose reading because you can look into it and see what happens when you're ready but with audiobooks it just keeps going when you are not ready but with reading you can also do find a better way to get going on the book 📚📚📖📚📖📚

Reading.  It's just easier for me.  Plus, I can supply my own audio with....

I've never been an audiobooks person. Tried a couple of times but it didn't take. I like reading through more, but my I might understand the fondness some have for audio if I gave it another go sometimes. I just like being able to go back on my own and hear my own voice as I look through it, makes it easier for me to focus in a way =)
