Broken Beautiful Heart by Kami Garcia

I'd say Plum Pudding Murder by Joanne Fluke. My older sister had lent me her copy a few years ago, and you could say it was my introduction to murder mystery novels, which have been one of my favorites ever since then.

A little bit? Either 'Assassination Vacation' by Sarah Vowell or 'The leaving and other stories' by Budge Wilson. 'Assassination Vacation' got me more interested in non-fiction, and 'The leaving...' taught me more about how I wanted to write.
