Cillian Murphy
Cillian Murphy in a thoughtful, atmospheric story!
He brings such quiet, brilliant intensity soft-spoken but deeply powerful, with eyes that hold so much emotion. He masters complex, layered characters fragile yet fierce, thoughtful and unforgettable. He turns every scene into something haunting and beautiful

Sappy though it may sound, women's artistic gymnastics at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games I'd never seen anything more exhilerating, and I wanted to be able to fly like those athletes could. Alas, I was eleven then, and was told I was too old to start the sport.

Who’s your biggest sports inspiration and why?
Shannon Miller. She never let anything stand in her way, and she kept going until she achieved her dream, and still she went on. She's also the one who introduced me to the mindset of 'I'm at school/work to learn/work, not to socialize.' That helped/helps a lot.

Underdog story or dominant champion which one speaks to you more?
Strange as this may sound:
As a writer, both appeal to me. But as an ordinary sports watcher, the underdogs are the best.

What does winning mean to you? Is it the trophy… or the journey?
The journey! It’s not the trophy it’s how you started, how you kept going, and how you overcame every hardship to reach your goal! The struggle is the story and that’s the real win!
