Once, a while back, my mom, my sister, and I went to a restaurant. This is when my sister and I first encountered entitlement. There was a couple there with their grandson, and all the couple did was complain about everything. The wait, the menu, the prices, the staff and their supposed lack of caring. And they complained loudly. Meanwhile, the grandson (he had to have been 4 or 5) just sat there, quiet and well-behaved. But it was just very uncomfortable for everyone else. We weren't having any issues with how anything was being handled. Our server was very apologetic. It was at that point when my sister said, just loud enough, "At least our grandparents have better manners."
