What's a band that your parents don't let you listen to or use to not let you listen to what was the reason

I'm an adult I listen to whatever makes me happy. :) Although when I was around 9 or 10 years old, my sister started to try and force me to change my taste in death metal. Yeah, that didn't work lol...
