Is it just my school, or does highschool have an incredibly unreasonable dresscode?
My school prevents guys, Only biologicaly male students, from wearing earrings. No girls can have a bra strap showin because to them we are "showing our underwear", but the guys can sagg their pants like no other. Nobody can wear short shorts unless, apparently, you are in athletics.

I was homeschooled but I did go to a politics summer camp in high school and their dresscode was soooo dumb! Girls had to wear dresses/skirts that went past the knees, no pantsuits allowed! Nearly impossible to find office wear like that nowadays. I thought it was way outdated. The congresswomen, the first lady, and other female politician all wear pants 😐 even one of the female state representatives who came to talk at the camp was wearing pants! Was really dumb.
Dang, i wouldve been so angry. I really dont like the traditional way of thinking.

Bro that's sooooo stupid! All that's gonna do it limit other kids self expression! Also, you can't just be a hyocrite on it! If it's a rule for the girls that they can wear earrings and can't show "underwear" then it should be a rule for the boys too!
I know. It just really sucks. And since my state is freakin full oh homophobes, i cant go by my preferred name because its "not something you can keep changing" but i changed it 9nce.....yeah, my school is full of just inconsiderate people.
@Ellie_Ellis sorry I'm just now seeing this but yeah that's STUPID! Like it literally doesn't effect anyone else at ALL! Why do so many people care about thngs like that if it doesn't effect them or their life?!?
