I like rewatching old favorites.  I don't know, anymore, there aren't a lot of new films that interest me.  It's a lot of new horror or thriller or action movie, and those aren't my favorite genres.  I think the last newest film my family and I watched was "Flow."

In the same vein of rewatching old favorites:  recently, we showed my youngest brother "Jaws" for the very first time.  He liked it, though he said he'd probably never watch it again.  I think the opening scene scared him.  Much like when my older sister first saw '"Jaws," when my father pulled her into the living room right as it was starting and told her, "You need to watch this!  It's educational!"  It may be old, but it could be new to someone else.

And in rewatching old favorites, it can be new.  The last time we rewatched the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, we did some in-depth research into Elrond's background.
