Love it!For me? The King’s Speech beautiful performances, yes, but I honestly don’t think it needed that many top awards. It’s good, yes heartfelt and well-made but not groundbreaking the way its hype suggested. Sometimes quiet, solid stories get crowned as masterpieces just because they feel safe and familiar, while bolder, more creative work gets overlooked. That said, it’s not a bad movie just far more praised than it actually deserves!
