Starting today, we’ll be highlighting cinematic favorites weekly! 1st Up: What’s the best opening scene of all time?!

I have 3 favorites: 3) the opening to "Jesus Christ Superstar" (1973); 2) the opening to "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers;" and 1) "Jaws." I have a quick story about the "Jaws" opening in honor of my dad - when my older sister was 10, Dad pulled her into the living room just as a movie was starting and he told her "You need to watch this, it's educational." Of course, the movie was "Jaws." tee hee. 🤪
