How many Shrek movies are there, minus the Puss in Boots spin-offs?

I love shrek i watch it 24/7

Oooh what an interesting way to use this question. I haven't watched many of the Shrek movies but i have watched puss in boots!

I do hear theres a fourth, with his kids, idk how far thats gone, dont think its out yet which might make it three? But im not entirely sure whether it's come or not so lets just go with that

I think that it's 4, because apparently they're coming out with a shrek 5
