Badlands. It's poetic and simple. It makes me feel hopeful yet withdrawn, and also sleepy (not out of boredom). It also is one of those movies where you can feel the elements against your skin - so like heat, humidity, sunshine, the tall grass, the pavement beneath your feet, the old fan blowing, etc.
