Yes! He’s far more complex not just cold and dangerous, but with hidden layers and moments of genuine care.
🔹 Helping or manipulating Evangeline?
Both. He guides and protects her, but every kindness comes with a price and an agenda.
🔹 Most surprising revelation?
The twisted truth behind the Magnificent North’s history, the curses and Jacks’s real identity & past.
🔹 Role of the legends?
They’re the foundation of the kingdom’s magic, curses, and beliefs but also hide the real truth.

•No, my opinion of Jacks hasn't changed. He has something up his sleeve and I think it's something he'll gain from.
•I still believe Jacks is manipulating Evangeline. He is currently helping her because she would be no use to him poisioned and dead.
•That Jacks used his power of persuasion to charm Prince Apollo into loving Evangeline rather than a magic/cursed kiss.
•I think the legends are foreshadowing what Jacks is after and what may play out for Evangeline. I believe that some of the legend is true.
You are really reading DEEP into Jack! I love it and I have an inkling of a suspicion that you are right...
