Both

Standalone books. I am not an in order type of reader. Lbvs. 💯🤷♀️Hbu? And why?

series, i need some resolution

Both are very intresting

Series i get so invested !

Both! But series are always really fun and you get to see characters progression over time as you are on the journey with the characters throughout the books.❤️

Series goes like crazy but i prefer standalone books 📚

Both i enjoy both

Honestly...I think it depends on the author. But I love a good series where the story builds a whole world and we get to walk with the characters and sometimes their friends through their lives, experiences and growth. 💜
Preach!
I totally agree with this so much!!

it depends on the genres

I love series! It lets me get to know these characters for longer. Their personality can change through out the series. meaning one character I could not be fond of in the begining. Can make me change my whole opinion of them and want to see more of them.

Standalone, series can be somehow boring

Standalone! Was much bigger into series when I was a kid.

Standalone. If it evolves into a series, I'll check it out, but in my experience, it's not as good as that first book. The exception to that would be Anne McCaffrey's series about the Dragonriders of Pern. I read one book from that - 'Dragonsong' - and then had to read the whole series. But from all the books, 'Dragonsong' is my favorite.

Standalone books definitely. Series can be daunting to read, and i honestly havent found any that catch my eye enough. I think the last book series i was invested in and completed has to be from Enid Blyton, when i was really young. Specifically the Malory Towers series and the St. Claire's series. Thooo i guess i did read some book series on Wattpad at some point, in the past.
A series that doesn't drag on. So standalone maybe?
