I worked in my uni's archive for workstudy and i spent most of my time scanning books to add to the digital archive. Its was much easier to find things in the digital archive because you can search easily, even for words within a document. But its easier to destroy/lose digital copies. Servers can be destroyed, data can be corrupted, the tech needed to access info can be forgotten. We will always need to keep physical things around!
