what’s the most popular mistake an artist can make when doing a specific drawing

Thinking too much about how everyone else will like it or not.

I'm doing a portrait.It's hard to stay within natural proportions of the human body

Making the hands and eyes size for me

For me is making one eye bigger than the other or drawing a full body wonky

The biggest mistake? Skipping the sketch & rushing to details! Getting the proportions, pose, and composition right FIRST that’s the foundation! Details come last!

One I struggle with is knowing when to stop adding to the drawing.
